Borrowing Policies
The borrowing limit for grades 1-3 is a maximum of two (2) books.
For the first few months, Kindergarteners will check out one book at a time until they have learned the routine. Then they will enjoy a maximum of two (2) books for the rest of the year.
Grade 1-3 students may borrow up to four (4) books if they have overdue books.
Grade 1-3 students may borrow up to four (4) books if they forgot to return books.
All books are due after two (2) weeks but students are welcome to return books earlier each week during scheduled library class if they choose.
Books may be renewed once (1) for a total of four (4) weeks.
If there is a book that a student wants but it is currently checked out, students can put a hold on the book.
Library Overdue Notices will be sent as a friendly reminder email periodically so families can help find and return library books. Families that do not have an email will receive paper notices.
There are no late fees for overdue books.
There is a replacement fee for lost or damaged books.
